PPH is a most serious disease. Do not undertake any activity or change of medication that is not approved by a PPH Specialist doctor. A list of PPH specialist doctors may be obtain from the United Patients Association for Pulmonary Hypertension.

The following lifestyle advice is offered:

  • Don't smoke
  • Don't get pregnant
  • Exercise (As you can)
  • Don't take diet drugs
  • Don't use the pill
  • Laugh and be positive
